Terms of Service & Refund Policy

Welcome to Parsen Research Hub (“Business,” “We,” “Us,” or “Our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms,” “Agreement”) govern your access to and use of our website, digital platforms, communication channels, and services. By accessing, browsing, purchasing, or otherwise using any of our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of our services.

  1. DEFINITIONS

For purposes of this Agreement:

  1. “Client” refers to any individual, institution, company, or organization that engages with Parsen Research Hub for services.
  2. “Services” refers to any product or service offered by us, including but not limited to:
    • Academic & professional writing
    • Printing, scanning, photocopying, binding, lamination
    • Graphic design, branding, and web design
    • Software & mobile application development
    • Data entry, transcription, data analysis, and market research
    • Digital marketing, SEO, and brand strategy
    • IT support, remote assistance (AnyDesk, TeamViewer), and virtual training
    • Publication assistance and eBook preparation
    • Document formatting, editing, proofreading, and related tasks
    • Financial trading training (synthetic indices).
  3. “Platform” refers to our website, online portal, ordering systems, email communication, WhatsApp channel, and any associated digital tools.
  4. “Work” or “Deliverable” means the output, files, documents, designs, code, or other materials provided to the Client upon completion of a service.
  1. SCOPE OF SERVICES

We operate as a onestop virtual business offering a broad range of digital solutions. While we strive to deliver services with accuracy and professionalism:

  • We do not guarantee specific grades, business outcomes, or financial results from using our services. We however, guarantee high quality services.
  • All creative, technical, and informational services are provided based on the details provided by the Client.
  • Any physical delivery of printed materials is subject to courier availability and applicable delivery fees.
  1. SERVICE ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 18 years old to enter into a binding contract with us. Minors may use our services only under the direct supervision and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

  1. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

The Client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information for service fulfillment.
  • Ensure that any files, materials, or instructions submitted do not infringe on copyrights, trademarks, or third-party rights.
  • Use AnyDesk, TeamViewer, or similar remote tools responsibly when engaging in collaborative support sessions.
  • Avoid submitting malicious files or harmful content.
  • Maintain secure login credentials for any accounts provided by us.
  1. PAYMENT TERMS
  • All service fees are displayed in Kenyan Shillings (KES) unless otherwise stated, with equivalent USD rates for international Clients.
  • At least 50% upfront payment is required before commencement of work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Urgent projects, large-scale developments, or printing orders may require full upfront payment.
  • Payments can be made via M-Pesa, PayPal, or bank transfer.
  • All payment transactions are final except as outlined in our Refund Policy.
  1. DELIVERY & ACCEPTANCE
  • Delivery timelines depend on the complexity, scope, and urgency of the service ordered.
  • All files will be delivered digitally unless otherwise arranged.
  • Physical printing orders will be packaged securely; however, we are not responsible for courier delays or damage during transit.
  • The Client must review and accept deliverables within 7 days of delivery except for research & content writing (with a grace period of one month). Silence beyond this period constitutes acceptance.
  1. REVISION POLICY
  • Clients are entitled to free revision per project (within the scope of the original brief) if requested within 7 days of delivery (and 30 days for research and content writing).
  • Additional revisions or scope changes will attract additional fees.
  • Revision timelines will depend on the complexity of the requested changes.
  1. REFUND POLICY

Refunds may be considered in cases of:

  1. Complete non-delivery of services without prior notice.
  2. Significant quality issues that cannot be resolved after a revision attempt.
  3. Duplicate payments or billing errors.

Refunds will not be issued if:

  • The Client changes their mind after work has begun.
  • The Client provides incomplete or inaccurate instructions leading to unsatisfactory results.
  • Delivery was delayed due to Client inaction (e.g., late submission of files).

All refunds will be processed within 30 business days upon approval.

  1. CONFIDENTIALITY & DATA SECURITY

We take confidentiality seriously:

  • All files, materials, and communications remain private and secure.
  • We will not share Client information with third parties except where legally required.
  • For AnyDesk/TeamViewer sessions, Clients are responsible for closing sensitive files or disabling access to confidential folders.
  1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
  • Unless otherwise agreed, intellectual property rights transfer to the Client only after full payment is received.
  • Parsen Research Hub retains the right to store, archive, or use anonymized versions of work for portfolio or promotional purposes unless the Client opts out in writing.
  • For software, applications, and websites, source code remains the property of the business unless explicitly transferred under a separate licensing agreement.
  1. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Parsen Research Hub shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our services.
  • We are not responsible for losses resulting from academic penalties, business losses, missed deadlines due to third-party delays, or misuse of our deliverables.
  • IT support services are provided “as-is,” and the Client assumes full responsibility for any changes made to their devices or systems.
  1. ACCEPTABLE USE

The Client agrees not to:

  • Use our services for illegal, defamatory, or fraudulent purposes.
  • Engage in hacking, spamming, or distribution of malware via our platforms.
  • Reverse-engineer, duplicate, or exploit our platform without consent.
  1. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES & TOOLS
  • We may use trusted third-party tools (e.g., payment gateways, file storage, cloud hosting, online editors).
  • While we ensure they meet security standards, we are not liable for disruptions or breaches originating from these providers.
  1. REMOTE COLLABORATION POLICY

For AnyDesk/TeamViewer sessions:

  • The Client must grant permission before we access their device.
  • The Client may terminate the session at any time.
  • We recommend closing unrelated personal files and documents before granting access.
  • We are not responsible for accidental exposure of unrelated personal data during sessions.
  1. TERMINATION OF SERVICE

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any service if:

  • The Client violates these Terms.
  • Payment is overdue.
  • The Client engages in abusive, harassing, or fraudulent behavior.
  1. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Disputes will be resolved under Kenyan jurisdiction.

  1. MODIFICATIONS

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

  1. EXTENDED CLAUSES & SPECIAL PROVISIONS

19.1 Financial Trading & Investment Training Disclaimer

  • All trading and investment training services provided by Parsen Research Hub, in synthetic markets are strictly for educational purposes only.
  • We do not act as a broker, financial adviser, or investment manager, and nothing in our training should be interpreted as personalized investment advice.
  • Past performance of trading strategies, tools, or indicators discussed during training sessions does not guarantee future results.
  • You acknowledge that trading involves high risk, including the possible loss of your entire capital, and you assume full responsibility for any financial outcomes based on your decisions.
  • You are advised to consult with a licensed financial adviser before making live trades using real money.

19.2 Intellectual Property in Training Materials

  • All slides, videos, trading strategies, templates, and code snippets provided during training remain the property of Parsen Research Hub unless expressly transferred via a signed licensing agreement.
  • The Client is granted a personal, non-transferable license to use the training materials solely for self-education.
  • Sharing, reselling, or republishing training content without written consent is prohibited.

19.3 Custom Software & IT Solutions

  • Any software or application developed by Parsen Research Hub will be delivered as per the agreed specifications; functionality outside that scope will require a new agreement and additional fees.
  • Source code ownership remains with Parsen Research Hub unless explicitly transferred via a software transfer agreement.
  • We are not responsible for third-party software integrations that break due to external API changes.

19.4 Data Security in Remote Sessions

  • While we take reasonable measures to secure client data during AnyDesk/TeamViewer sessions, you acknowledge that remote support inherently involves risks, including potential unauthorized access to data if your device is compromised.
  • Parsen Research Hub is not liable for damages caused by malware, viruses, or hardware failure occurring before, during, or after a remote session.

19.5 Printing & Physical Deliveries

  • Printed materials will be produced using industry-standard processes. Slight color variations due to printer calibration, paper stock, or ink batch are not considered defects.
  • Physical deliveries are handled by third-party courier services; delays, loss, or damage caused by these couriers are beyond our control, and claims must be made directly to the courier company.

19.6 Client Content Liability

  • You warrant that all content, images, data, and files you provide do not infringe on any copyright, trademark, trade secret, or other intellectual property right.
  • You indemnify Parsen Research Hub from any legal claims, damages, or expenses arising from materials you provide.

19.7 Third-Party Accounts & Access

  • If you provide us with login details to third-party accounts (e.g., website back-end, broker platforms, social media), you authorize us to perform only the agreed services.
  • You remain responsible for changing your passwords after the service is completed.

19.8 Service Interruptions

  • Parsen Research Hub is not responsible for delays or inability to deliver services due to force majeure events, including but not limited to internet outages, power failures, strikes, pandemics, or natural disasters.

19.9 Communication Channels

  • Official communication will be conducted via email, our website, WhatsApp, or other pre-agreed channels.
  • We are not liable for instructions sent via unapproved channels that are not acknowledged by us.

19.10 Portfolio & Testimonials

  • Unless you opt out in writing, we may use anonymized versions of completed work, screenshots, or client feedback for marketing and portfolio purposes.

19.11 Non-Disparagement

  • You agree not to publicly defame or disparage Parsen Research Hub, its services, or staff, including through social media, forums, or online reviews.
  • Disputes should first be addressed via our internal resolution process.

19.12 Multiple Revisions Policy

  • Excessive revision requests (more than 3 rounds) for the same project may be treated as a new project and billed accordingly.

19.13 Archival & Data Retention

  • Completed projects may be archived for up to 6 months. After that, we may permanently delete project files from our systems.
  • Retrieval of archived projects may incur a handling fee.

19.14 International Client Provisions

  • International clients are responsible for currency conversion fees, bank charges, or payment processing fees from their financial institutions.
  • We may adjust delivery times to account for time zone differences.

19.15 Custom Project Timelines

  • For large or multi-phase projects, delivery will be based on milestone agreements. Delays in client approvals will automatically extend timelines.

19.16 Service Refusal Rights

  • We reserve the right to refuse any project or training request that, in our sole judgment, involves illegal activity, promotes hate speech, or violates professional ethics.

19.17 No Warranty Clause

  • All services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

19.19 Third-Party Trainers and Outsourced Services
Parsen Research Hub may, at its discretion, engage third-party trainers, consultants, or institutions to deliver certain courses or modules. While we exercise due diligence in selecting qualified professionals, Parsen Research Hub is not responsible for the individual actions, omissions, or teaching methodologies of outsourced trainers. By enrolling in a course, you acknowledge that such external facilitators are independent contractors and not employees or agents of Parsen Research Hub.

19.20 Course Availability and Modifications
Training programs, whether delivered internally or by outsourced professionals, are subject to availability. Parsen Research Hub reserves the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel any course at its sole discretion. Notice of changes will be provided in advance whenever possible. In the event of a cancellation initiated by Parsen Research Hub, participants may request a transfer to a similar course or a refund in accordance with our refund policy.

19.21 Certification and Recognition
Completion of certain training programs may entitle participants to certificates of participation or achievement. Unless otherwise stated in writing, such certifications are issued solely by Parsen Research Hub and do not represent formal accreditation or licensing from external regulatory bodies, universities, or professional associations. Where external accreditation is applicable, it will be clearly indicated before enrollment.

19.22 Participant Responsibilities
Participants are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary technical requirements (e.g., stable internet, compatible devices, updated software) to access online training. Parsen Research Hub will not be liable for disruptions, missed sessions, or inability to participate due to participant-side technical issues. Furthermore, participants are expected to maintain professional conduct, respect intellectual property rights, and comply with all course guidelines.

19.23 Limitation of Liability for Training Outcomes
Parsen Research Hub provides training for educational and professional development purposes. We do not guarantee specific employment outcomes, business success, financial gain, or academic performance improvements as a result of completing any training program. The application and benefit of acquired knowledge depend on the participant’s own efforts, context, and external circumstances.

19.24 Refund Policy for Training Programs
Refunds are governed by the following conditions:

  • Requests made before the start of the course may qualify for a full or partial refund, subject to administrative fees.

  • Requests made after the course has commenced will generally not qualify for refunds, except in cases of proven service non-delivery or cancellation initiated by Parsen Research Hub.

  • No refunds will be provided for dissatisfaction arising from personal preference, trainer style, or perceived lack of benefit, provided the course was delivered as described.

  • In the case of outsourced trainers, Parsen Research Hub will mediate refund requests but cannot be held liable for delays or non-performance attributable to third parties.

19.25 Intellectual Property Rights in Training Materials
All course content, training materials, guides, videos, and resources provided by Parsen Research Hub or its outsourced trainers remain the intellectual property of their respective owners. Participants are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use such materials for personal learning only. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, resale, or commercial exploitation is strictly prohibited.

19.26 Governing Language and Jurisdiction for Training Services
These Terms apply equally to all training programs offered by Parsen Research Hub, whether conducted in-person or online. Any disputes arising specifically from training services shall be governed under the same jurisdictional laws and dispute resolution procedures set forth in the main Terms of Service.

19.27 Entire Agreement

  • These Terms, together with any project-specific contracts, form the entire agreement between you and Parsen Research Hub. Any conflicting terms in other documents will be overridden by this Agreement unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.
